March 17, 2008 Set up "clutter-catcher"
Set-up "clutter-catcher" containers in all high-activity areas of your home! The purpose of this "clutter-catcher" is to collect any and all items that don't belong in that area. It doesn't matter what the size, style or color of this container, it only needs to match/fit the room it is being used within. Be sure to take 10 minutes at the end of every day to re-route the collected items to their rightful home.

February 18, 2008 - Planning Ahead on a Daily Basis
Set aside 10 minutes every evening to plan your business and personal schedule for the next day. Write down the high priority items and highlight them so that they don't get missed. The lower priority items can be done only after all high priority items have been taken care of. If your list is particularly long, try to think of ways that you can delegate some of the tasks. By discussing your schedule with your family members, you may be able to get some help, particularly with household chores. Planning ahead on a daily basis, rather than weekly, can relieve some of the stress of feeling overwhelmed, and allow you to get the most important things done on time!

January 28, 2008 - Go Digital with Your Reference Information
How can I store and organize all those newspaper and magazine articles? Create a folder on your PC called "Reference". Then create subfolders for each type of information (Home, Financial, Travel, Sports, etc). Scan the articles from newspapers and magazines that you want to keep. Store them in the appropriate subfolder. Throw away the source documents.

January 25, 2008 - Digital Photographs
With digital photography we take lots more pictures than we need! When you download your pictures, review them keeping only the pictures you will want a year from now. If you really can't let go of the marginal photos, create a file called "Marginal Photos - delete July 08". If you haven't used them by then, delete the file. No need to review them a second time!
